The Chester County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides eye exams and glasses to those in need as well as provides employment for the blind and visually impaired in a workship located in the building that includes sewing machines and related equipment.


Home Visitation

Home visitations for all of Chester County residents who are not able to come to our facility.

Eye Exam

Eye exams offered in our eye clinic at a reduced cost as well as an optician who will fill eye prescriptions.


The products made by the employees go into the military resale program.  Items include:
  • ironing board covers
  • tea towels
  • polish cloths
  • oven mitts/pot holders
  • laundry bags
  • dish clothes
The workshop maintains an employment ration of 75% visually impaired to 25% sighted workers.
